About the Disease
Wagner Vitreoretinopathy, also known as hyaloideoretinal degeneration of wagner, is related to vcan-related vitreoretinopathy and stickler syndrome, type i, nonsyndromic ocular. An important gene associated with Wagner Vitreoretinopathy is VCAN (Versican). Affiliated tissues include eye, retina and kidney, and related phenotypes are exudative vitreoretinopathy and cataract
