Abstract:
Mitochondrial Ribosomal Protein L45 (MRPL45) is a protein that plays a crucial role in the structure and function of mitochondria, which are essential for energy metabolism. Mutations in the Mad Hatter's Protein (MRPL45) can cause a variety of neurological diseases , such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, etc. At the same time, it is also the target of many drugs, such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, and sleeping pills. This article aims to explore the potential role of MRPL45 in drug research and clinical applications and discuss its value as a biomarker.
