Summary

The T-box transcription factor TBX2 is a transcription factor widely expressed in multiple cell types. TBX2 has been shown to play an important role in a variety of diseases. Although TBX2 plays an important role in the body, there are currently no drugs targeting TBX2. 1 Introduction

Transcription factors are an important class of proteins that play important roles in organisms. These factors control gene expression by binding to DNA. T-box transcription factors are a special class of transcription factors whose name comes from their conserved transcription binding domain (TBP). These factors are widely expressed in multiple cell types and play important roles in a variety of biological processes. TBX2 is a T-box transcription factor expressed in multiple cell types. This article will review the role of TBX2 in transcriptional regulation, disease occurrence and drug research, and provide new ideas for the development and utilization of TBX2.

2. Transcriptional regulation of TBX2

TBX2 plays an important role in transcriptional regulation. Research shows that TBX2 controls gene expression by binding to DNA. The binding site of TBX2 is located in the promoter region of the gene and binds to RNA polymerase. This binding results in an increase in the DNA-binding activity of TBX2, thereby enhancing gene expression.
