Torticollis
About the Disease
Torticollis, also known as wry neck/torticollis, is related to cervical dystonia and dystonia 11, myoclonic. An important gene associated with Torticollis is ARID1B (AT-Rich Interaction Domain 1B), and among its related pathways/superpathways are RUNX1 interacts with co-factors whose precise effect on RUNX1 targets is not known and Tumor suppressor activity of SMARCB1. The drugs Ropivacaine and Fentanyl have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include globus pallidus, subthalamic nucleus and brain, and related phenotypes are facial asymmetry and torticollis
